SUMMARY:
The Head of Sales will be responsible for managing, maximizing sales and profitability of the food brand product for a start up company. This individual must maintain current customers while continuing to develop new customers nationally and potentially internationally.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide leadership in the day-to-day operations while maintaining focus on strategic goals.
• Drive the development of refined sales strategies nationally to attain business and revenue goals, with a focus on sales productivity and market penetration.
• Develop and implement an annual Sales Plan in execution of the business goals, including the establishment of both annual and monthly sales objectives.
• Regularly monitor the Sales Plan, providing quarterly updates, revisions and corrective actions as necessary to ensure achievement of business and revenue objectives.
• Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base.
• Responsible for the successful management of the needs of the customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention, and building customer loyalty.
• Responsible for leading and creating a Sales Team.


REQUIREMENTS:
• MUST have prior experience working within the Food Retail Industry.
• Organic food background, HUGE plus.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, with ability to manage and get results through others.
• Strong working knowledge and experience in developing and executing strategic as well as tactical sales plans including quotas and account objectives.
• Highly organized and efficient with very effective time management skills.
• Ability to create effective short-term as well as long-term plans in support of and execution to the business goals and objectives.
• Strong problem analysis and problem resolution skills at both a strategic and functional level
Ability to organize and manage multiple and changing priorities effectively and efficiently
• Strong computer and technical skills
• Strong team player with ability to develop, motivate and lead.
• Start up experience a plus with experience in growing at a rapid pace.
